Volunteer
Teach a session, mentor a learner or run a clinic. A few hours a month makes a real difference, and no teaching experience is needed.
Give your time →A not-for-profit collective
We treat artificial intelligence as a commons: something everyone should understand, use with confidence and help shape. Through free education, practical support for work and business, and a public commitment to responsible use.

What we believe
The most powerful technology of our time should not be understood by only a few.
When AI is shaped by a small group, its benefits stay with a small group. We exist to widen the circle: more people learning, more voices asking hard questions, more communities using AI on their own terms.
What we do
Whether you're learning for the first time, trying to work smarter, or running an organisation, there's a way in that meets you where you are.
Free courses, workshops and clubs that take people from "what even is AI?" to using it thoughtfully, for students, parents, older adults and the simply curious.
Practical skills for the jobs people actually do: writing, research, planning, admin. So AI gives time back, and nobody gets left behind as work changes.
Independent, jargon-free guidance for small businesses, charities and social enterprises: where AI genuinely helps, where it doesn't, and how to adopt it safely.
Projects that put AI to work on the things communities care about: health information, farming, accessibility, local services and the creative arts.
The learning journey
Our free curriculum is built in four stages. Start anywhere, stop anytime, come back whenever you like.
What AI is, how it works in simple terms, and what it can and can't do.
Hands-on with AI assistants for writing, planning, learning and creativity.
Bring AI into real tasks and workflows, measured by time saved and quality kept.
Privacy, bias, oversight and ethics, so you can guide others and teach it on.
Responsible AI
Our charter guides everything we teach and build. We invite every learner, volunteer and partner to sign it too, as a public promise to use AI in a way that's good for people.
For organisations: our open toolkit turns these principles into checklists you can actually use.
For learners: every course ends with a module on using AI responsibly.
